BROWNSBORO — The Brownsboro Bears moved their district winning streak to 29 straight games under head coach Brent Smith in registering a 46-36 win over the Mabank Panthers on Friday in a District 13-4A boys basketball game. Kevon Thompson led the Bears (15-5, 3-0) with 20 points, while Jared Gailey added 12. Caleb Dally led the Panthers (11-15, 1-2) with 14 points. The district lead will be on the line on Tuesday as the Bears host Van, also 3-0 in district. Gametime is set for 7:30 p.m.
