The Brownsboro Bearettes lost to the Van Lady Vandals 40-37 Tuesday in overtime. At the end of regulation, the score was tied at 34. Van outscored Brownsboro 7-4 in the extra frame. Brownsboro was led in scoring by Morgyn Fulgham with 16 points. Aleiah Williams and McKenzie Smith had six, Tay Tay Limbrick and Alexis Hambrick had four and Katelyn England had one. Van was led by Kyla Jones with 11. Skylar Savage had seven, Gracie Brewer had six, Macy Rucker, Abi Rumbo and Grace Santos had five and Makiah Dodd had one. The Lady?Tigers won 53-31 over Leon, while the Tigers thumped Leon 85-49. In the Lady Tigers game, Jalie Dawson led the way with a game-high 29 points. Alliyah Coleman had 12, Taliha Dora had six, Shakera Thompson had four and Charlsey Stearman had three. In the Tigers contest, all nine players scored led by Jaquaylon Hart with 20 points.
