The Brownsboro Bears picked up another victory in Monday action, this time against the Gilmer Buckeyes. The Bears (9-4) won, 60-48, behind 19 points from Gage Wehrman. Kevon Thompson had 12, Kenneth Woods had 11, Tylor Johnson had seven and Jarrod Hastings had five. Jared Gailey had four and Ashton Williams had two. In the junior varsity game, Brownsboro won 67-30, while the Gilmer freshmen won 50-45 in overtime. Brownsboro returns to action Dec. 28 against Kilgore at 10 a.m. The game is a part of the Wagstaff tournament at Tyler Junior College.
