The Brownsboro Bears improved to 8-4 with a 62-50 victory over TK?Gorman Friday. In the victory, the Bears were led by Kevon Thompson and Kenneth Woods with 12 each. Ashton Williams had 10, Jared Gailey had eight, Jarrod Hastings and Gage Wehrman had five, Saul Williams and Tylor Johnson had four and Izik Boykin had two. In the junior varsity game, Brownsboro won, 62-35. Brownsboro beats Bullard The Brownsboro Bearettes improved to 12-7 with a 33-25 victory over Bullard Friday. In the victory, Morgyn Fulgham led the way with 10 points. McKenzie Smith had seven, Tay Limbrick and Aleaiah Williams had six, Emma McCoy had three and Warren had one. Bullard was led by Allie Kirgan with nine, Sydney Foster with seven, Erin Berry with six and Bailey Smith with three. In the junior varsity game, Bullard won 40-28. Malakoff Tigers beat Waxahachie Life, 54-53 The Malakoff Tigers defeated Waxahachie Life, 54-53, in Friday action at Malakoff. The Tigers were led by Jaquaylon Hart with 12 points.?Andreas Garrett had 11, Kaderrious Thomas and Casey Wilson had 10. RJ?Carr had seven and Jake Lee and Eric Littleton had two points. Malakoff returns to action today at Jewett Leon. This will be the final game for the Tigers before the Grapeland Tournament Dec. 28-30. Trinidad Lady Trojans lead 21-A volleyball team The Trinidad Lady Trojans led the way with 11 nominations on the 21-A volleyball team. The state semifinalist had Erica Airheart named the Most Valuable Player, Hallie Airheart the Most Valuable Server, Jaylinn Womack the Most Valuable Blocker and Tori Moody as the Most Valuable Hitter. Hayley Ned was the Most Valuable Defensive Player and Cassie Patch was the Newcomer of the Year. Tina Sawtelle was named Coach of the Year. First-team honors went to Jazmyn Burden-Engels, while Eryn Airheart was named to the second team. Magen Looney and Eden Mizell were named honorable mention. Academic honors went to Patch,?Erica Airheart, Eryn Airheart, Hallie Airheart, Looney, Mizell, Ned and Womack. Cross Roads nabs honors on 21-AA volleyball team Grayson Cain was named the Most Valuable Hitter of the Year for Cross Roads on the 21-AA All-District volleyball team. Joining Cain were first-team members Meghan Cook and Hannah Latham. Second-team honors went to Danaleigh Stiles and Bailee Stanfield. Academic All-District honors went to Cain, Stiles, Stanfield, Latham and Gracyn Cunningham. State title games set
