TERRELL GETS CAGED BY THE BROWNSBORO BEARS
On a cold, wintery, and perfect football night the Brownsboro Bears defeated the Terrell Tigers 42-20.
Brownsboro Bears head coach Greg Pearson expressed, “We have two tough games left to make the playoffs, but I'm sure gonna enjoy this one.”
In the first half, the Bears scored three touchdowns to one for the Tigers. Saul Williams ran seven yards for the first score.
Kenneth Woods ran in from four yards out. Kevon Thompson finished the scoring for the Bears, running in from eight yards out. Luis Suarez kicked all three pat's.
The Tigers got their touchdown in the final 23 seconds of the half. Micah Skinner ran in the score from six yards out to make the halftime score to 21-6 in favor of the Bears.
The second half started off with a bang for the Tigers. Markel Savala returned the opening kickoff 78 yards for the TD.
The Bears then outscored the Tigers 21-8 the rest of the half. Skinner scored on a one yard plunge, and tacked on the two point conversion.
Woods, Thompson and Williams each scored on short touchdown runs. Suarez added one PAT and Williams ran for a two-point conversion for the 42-20 final score.
The Bears travel to Crandall next Friday.
